Making guests happy, standing for more than 15 years behind the bar
Creating the drinks is not only my job . Thats my passion. With the international experience in such hotels like Hyatt in Switzerland, Leading Hotel of the World in Austria, working on cruise ships Costa Group and AIDA cruises, I was always open for the new experiences, creating the perfect drinks for the guests.
In year 2015 to develop my skills and bar knowledge I made the master of bartending in the American Cocktail College, placed in Rostock, Germany. After that I started as a Head Bartender in the boutique hotel Syte in Mannheim, Germany. Working the last 5 years mostly in the same region I got my guests circle following me. After supporting the new opened hotel I got interested in bar opening and organising. The next bars were Roof Bar in Radisson Blu Hotel in Mannheim, Germany. There as a head bartender in year 2016 I created the whole bar and beverage concept, the bar menu and cocktail recipes, was providing bar coaching and trainings for the new staff. After one year came the new project Ella and Louis Jazz Bar in Mannheim, Germany. Ella and Louis Bar named after Louis Armstrong and Ella Fritz Gerald was kind of new experience for me. There I had a chance to create the drinks not only for the local guest, but also for the world famous jazz artists giving the concerts in jazz club. Every guest wish is important. There is not only a bar menu existing. As a bartender you get to know the wishes and tastes of the guests before they order a drink.
I am not only creating the drinks and planning the bars. Since year 2018 I am one of the judges of the London Spirits Awards and also Brand Ambassador For some local German brands. In the same time I created my own brand MARTINELLI IL MIXOLOGIST. I am still travelling and collecting experience from the colleges in other countries, making guest shifts in international bars, and supporting my own brand.
